Scott, Theodore Gilbert 1891 - 1974

Theodore Gilbert Scott was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England on 8 April 1891 and was articled to his father, Augustus Frederic Scott (1854-1936), in Norfolk from 1907 to 1909.  He was then an improver and later an assistant to Mervyn Edmund Macartney (1853-1952) in London from 1909 to 1912. He also attended King's College, London; and the Royal Academy Schools in London.   He qualified as an architect in 1913 and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) the following year.  In c.1918 he joined the practice of his father and his elder brother, Eric Wilfrid Boning Scott (1889-1981) in Norwich as A. F. Scott & Sons.

T. G. Scott died in Thorpe St. Andrew, Norfolk on 11 February 1974
