Clegg, Charles & Son 1885 - ?

Charles Clegg & Son was an architectural partnership formed in Manchester, England in 1885 by Charles Clegg (1828-1922) and his son, Charles Theodore Clegg (1861-1930).  Between 1911 and 1913 they were in a short-term partnership with the Paisley, Scotland-based architectural firm Fryers & Penman. The partnership was formed specifically for one project, the design of new premises for the Calico Printers’ Association, Ltd. in Manchester. Following the completion of the project in 1913, Charles Clegg & Son reverted to its original name.
