Forbes & Tate & Victor Smith

Forbes & Tate & Victor Smith originated as Forbes & Tate, an architectural partnership formed by James Edwin Forbes (1876-1955) and John Duncan Tate (1880-1930) in London, England in 1905.  The partnership was dissolved in 1930 following the death of Tate.  By 1937 the partnership had been reformed as Forbes & Tate & Victor Smith, with Victor Smith [possibly Reginald Victor Smith (1885-1971)] as a partner. "Riverbank", an apartment block in Staines, Middlesex designed by Forbes & Tate & Victor Smith in 1937 is described in Flats: Municipal and Private Enterprise (London: Ascot Gas Water Heaters Ltd., 1938 pp. 206-211).
