Goddard & Catlow 1909 - ?

Goddard & Catlow [also known as H.L. Goddard & W.A. Catlow] had its origins in Goddard Paget & Goddard, an architectural partnership formed in Leicester, England, in 1889 by Joseph Goddard (1840-1900), his son, Henry Langton Goddard (1866-1944) and Alfred Henry Paget (1848-1909). In 1895 Walter Albert Catlow (c.1860-1918) joined the practice which became Goddard, Paget & Catlow. The title of the firm changed to Goddard & Catlow [also known as H. L. Goddard & W. A. Catlow] following the death of Paget in 1909.

A photograph of a cement gable designed and executed by George P. Bankart (1866-) for Goddard & Catlow is featured in 'The Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art' 1911 (p.91). The firm had offices at 8 Market Street, Leicester.
